Disrupting a city traditionally known for its technology scene, SĀR Residence is reshaping Pune’s cultural identity. Launched by SĀR—an Indian furniture brand that specializes in handmade pieces—the studio’s flagship blends retail, office, designer residency, and community hub. It’s not just a place to work or shop—it’s a creative ecosystem.

The Art of Hosting

The design puts an emphasis on hosting—with dining and living furniture set up for social interaction, reflecting India’s deep-rooted hospitality traditions. Built on a hill with sweeping jungle views, the space integrates its natural surroundings, offering tranquility and inspiration. Through workshops, film nights, and concerts, it serves as a global platform and vibrant cultural hub for designers—promoting cross-disciplinary engagement.

From Europe to India

Inspired by the founder’s time at Fabrica in Italy and Vista Alegre in Portugal, the architecture merges Indian and European influences. Featuring interconnected terraces, central courtyards, and amphitheater-like layouts, the property creates a functional, visually striking space that fosters collaboration and creative exchange while celebrating cultural traditions.

Singapore: An Immersive Experience for Plant Lovers

Starting as an online store for plants and gardening essentials, Soilboy opened its flagship studio in the New Bahru creative park. Featuring stunning plant displays, green living, and handmade ceramic pots by Korean artisans—the space embodies an immersive yet serene environment.

A Serene Plant Paradise

The design approach blends natural minimalism with Wabi-Sabi and biophilic principles. Earthy material—such as wood, bark, and ceramics—gives the space an organic, grounded vibe. Every detail, from the textures to the layout, allows the plants to grow freely and invites visitors to connect with nature—fostering a sense of tranquility and well-being.

Nature's Touch

Featuring a sink bar for florists and dedicated areas for experiential workshops, the space represents a shift in retail. Blending nature with interior design, it transforms the space into a community hub for learning and connection.

Rewriting the Rules of Collectible Design

An industrial designer from Mexico City—Federico Stefanovich—blends his technical expertise with poetic forms in his collectible designs. His works, often described as technical mobiles or moving sculptures—focuses on weight, volume, and gravity.

His design process involves complex calculations and 3D modeling as well as public installations. Deeply influenced by his father, an industrial designer whose work exposed him to the world of creative objects from an early age—sparked Stefanovich's own journey into design.
